WBC honors trainer Freddie Roach

“Pacman trainer given Lifetime Achievement Award in Los Angeles”

Los Angeles, California: Freddie Roach The famed trainer made more famous by the success of Filipino spitfire, Manny Pacquiao, was honored last Saturday October 11, 2008 by the World Boxing Council.
Roach was bestowed a “Lifetime Achievement Award” during a special luncheon and fund raising at the WBC Legends of Boxing Event at the New Museum at Sun Bernardino, California. WBC also gave the award to 92-yearold cutman, Chuck Bodak as well as another cutman tony Rivera and announcer Carlos Avilas.

It’s about time for WBC to award Roach with this title. Based on his trained boxer Manny Pacquiao, he made Pacaman from no one to someone and shaped him to be the most famous boxer of his time. Beating The Golden Boy would be very a huge win for Pacquiao and Roach. All hopes are up, Cant wait to see them fight on December.
